Jefferson’s Ferry is a “Lifecare” CCRC, meaning our agreement includes a significant amount of health care in both the entrance fee and monthly service fees. In addition, our “Lifecare” agreement includes housing, residential services, amenities, as well as unlimited specified health-related services. As your health needs change, you can utilize our services and programs either on a temporary or permanent basis. Our lifestyle offers independent residential living for active adults and health care, should you need it, all on one site.

At Jefferson's Ferry, you will have access to all the community has to offer such as an indoor swimming pool, library and computer center, café and pub, arts center, fitness center and a host of other activities and amenities. In addition, you will be guaranteed unlimited high quality, on-site assisted living and nursing care, if and when you ever need it.

Since it is your home, you come and go as you please within a secure community of friends. Jefferson's Ferry will give you freedom from housekeeping, lawn care, home maintenance and other chores, allowing you the time to enjoy the things that are most important to you such as visiting friends, travel, hobbies and more. You have added peace of mind knowing that healthcare is available, when you need for as long as you need it.

Our Lifecare Agreements are either 90% Refundable or Traditional Contracts. The 90% Refundable provides a minimum refund of 90% of the entrance fee. The Traditional Contract declines over four years with a refund of the Entrance Fee less 4% after 90 days, then less 2% per month of occupancy.

The Vincent Bove Health Center offers enriched housing and skilled nursing in a gracious residential setting with elegant dining rooms, theme lounges and a comprehensive service program tailored to meet the specific care requirements of each resident. Jefferson's Ferry is committed to providing residents with the finest health care including on-site physical, speech and occupational therapy, fulltime dietician, pharmacy service, laboratory and x-ray services, visiting physicians and dentists and a 24-hour registered nurse on duty.

Enriched Housing at The Vincent Bove Health Center

For those needing extra support in their daily lives, enriched housing at Jefferson's Ferry provides assisted living with a caring touch. Jefferson’s Ferry’s enriched housing program combines an attractive lifestyle with health and wellness services. Our all-inclusive program maximizes independence, ensures privacy and sets a high standard for quality of life.

Residents of Jefferson’s Ferry's enriched housing enjoy private, spacious studio or one bedroom apartments. All are barrier-free and include walk-in closets, tea kitchens, safety bars and emergency call systems. Residents are encouraged to furnish their private apartments with their own cherished treasures and furnishings.

Community members can directly enter assisted living or skilled nursing at our health center with an all-inclusive daily rate with no entrance or community fee.

Lifecare residents who first join Jefferson's Ferry in an apartment or cottage can transfer to enriched housing at no extra charge.
