Activities are the lifeblood of Hampshire House, providing social, physical, cognitive, and spiritual outlets for our residents. We employ a full-time Activities Director, Activities Assistants, and many volunteers, who, together, create an environment of compassion, caring and fun. Some of our special activities include:

Services
Hampshire House is a licensed adult-care facility in scenic Oneonta, New York. We pride ourselves in offering services that help our residents remain as independent as possible while providing compassionate care in a respectful and dignified setting. Our professional staff completes a thorough assessment of all residents prior to admission and on an ongoing basis to ensure that the plan of care for each resident is as individual as the resident themselves. Our community has been designed with all resident apartments and most common spaces on a single level, allowing our residents to readily experience all of our exciting and unique amenities, including:
24-hour on-site care-giving staff
Assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Medication supervision and assistance
Weekly laundry and linen service
24-hour emergency call systems in each resident apartment
On-call medical consultant
Monthly podiatrist visits
Monthly audio consultant
Diversified activities and social events planned 7 days per week
Scheduled daily housekeeping
On-site beauty parlor/barber shop

Indoor heated pool

Individual climate controls in each resident apartment
Basic cable hook-up in each resident apartment
Affiliation with local multi-specialty medical group including onsite visits on a regular basis and consultation with a comprehensive range of medical specialists (who all accept Medicare or insurance as payment).
Web cam available with resident and family instruction so that the resident and family and friends can video visit at anytime.
