A COMPASSIONATE SOLUTION FOR THE Memory-Impaired

When someone close to us suffers from memory loss, the supervisory requirements and demands on emotional strength can be overwhelming. Eden Heights of Olean offers a residential solution for individuals experiencing memory-related impairment, including Alzheimer's Disease.

We have focused our expertise in residential care together with specialized facilities and expert staff to bring this unique solution to Olean. A specialty-care wing has been designed to enable residents the maximum opportunity for fulfillment while minimizing the risks associated with memory loss. The simple home-like setting, which includes a courtyard, walkways and common areas, preserves personal dignity by allowing independence and mobility without frustration. SERVICES

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES & SOCIAL PROGRAMS
There are always enjoyable things to do and places to visit when you are a resident at Eden Heights. Exercise classes, Bingo, contests and movies are just a few of the many activities the residents enjoy without leaving home. Field trips, shopping excursions and restaurant outings keep our 15-passenger van on the road each week.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Sometimes just remembering to take medication is tricky, much less refilling prescriptions. Our staff takes the worry out of the medicines that keep our residents fit! A pharmacy makes daily deliveries to Eden Heights and assists residents with their medication needs.

HOUSEKEEPING & LAUNDRY
Eden Heights residents have places to be and things to do. Household chores are not among them. We provide fresh bedding and towels as well as laundry and housekeeping services.

SAFE & SECURE
From optimum design and materials to detection and alarms systems that prevent trouble, Eden Heights is worry-free. Round-the-clock professional staffing and emergency call systems give Eden Heights residents the peace of mind they deserve.

CASE MANAGEMENT
Among our many qualified staff is an individual who is responsible solely for assisting residents and their families with matters relating to their Eden Heights residency. Our case manager is a resource person and confidante who assists individuals in getting settled at Eden Heights, as well as with issues of transition or assessing community resources.

PERSONAL CARE
Our staff is never far away when you need a helping hand. Whether it is help with bathing or getting dressed, we're ready to assist our residents with matters of a personal nature twenty-four hours a day.

WORSHIP SERVICES
Worship services are celebrated on-site by various denominations through the efforts of congregations in the surrounding community. Staying connected and faithful is part of our plan.

RESTAURANT-STYLE DINING
Three delicious meals are served waitress-style in our spacious dining room. Each meal features a selective menu with two entrees. We also offer therapeutic diets for individuals with special nutritional needs. An evening snack is served daily at 8pm.
