The Crystal House is a licensed Adult Home located in Dutchess County. We are located in Dover Plains N.Y. [60 min. north of N.Y.C.] We have a small facility in a country setting offering a quite atmosphere, for the mentally handicap.
At The Crystal House we support and care for residents suffering from mental illness. These illness include and are not limited to schizophrenia, depression, and bi-polar. We have been caring for the disabled for over 25yrs. We accept Social Security, or Private Benefits. Please contact us and our casemanagment team will work with you to obtain the documents for admission.

The Crystal House promotes the dignity and self-worth of our residents and we strive for resident defined quality of life as an individual and as a group member. We encourage resident group decision-making through monthly House Council meetings.
The Crystal House Residents have full access to all common areas of their home. At the home the residents' exercise self determination in activities, socialization, and food preferences.
The Crystal House is not just a member facility..."it is the residents' home and it is the residents' community".
We Offer a Resident-oriented home-like environment;
Our innovative use of Resident Assistants providing safe personal care when needed.
Our on-site Case manger ensures continuity of care as Resident needs change.
The Crystal House staff members will be knowledgeable and skilled in carrying out important components of care, including but not limited to, safe medication administration, falls prevention, communication techniques, hygiene care, and the ability to recognize the changes that can signal acute changes of condition.
Services
The Crystal House will encourage the resident, and family to become involved with his/her plan of care. We will provide enhanced services providing interaction and education in order for the resident, and family to become an educated recipient of the services available.
The Crystal House will offer a supportive home like setting, and assistance for activities of daily living. Residence will be provided with increased medical and case management providing a safe and comfortable living.
