Christian Fellowship House is a nondenominational Bible-believing fellowship established in 1962 for the purpose of extending tender, loving care and spiritual encouragement to those who are in their senior years.

Administrator's Background
The present administrators, Rev. Paul Luther Steffens and Florence Steffens represent generations of a God-fearing and compassionate family. They are the direct descendents of German religious reformer, Dr. Martin Luther. The family has been involved in caring for the indigent for at least 150 years, beginning with an orphanage in Germany circa 1840; housing for retired seamen in New York City 1920-45; and nursing homes and adult homes on Long Island and New Jersey. The family is now in its 6th generation of upholding this fine tradition. This is a family that you can trust with your loved ones, primarily because of God's grace and mercy.

Our bus took us next to the neighboring 73-room Christian Fellowship House, Franklin Lord's 1927 Manor. Without a doubt, this is one of the most fabulous mansions anywhere. Syosset can be proud that it is being so well preserved by the newest owners
