Brooklyn Adult Care Center has been delivering quality care and exceptional services to the residents of our community for sevveral years.
Our professional staff offers loving attention, recreational activities and socialization. We are licensed The New York Department of Health and affiliated with The New York Coalition for Quality Assisted Living.
Our staff (which includes the owners) are actively involved with operations and are on premises throughout the week. We are staffed 24 hour a day, seven days a week.
Our home is family friendly. Families of our residents have direct access to the Administrator and his Staff at all times.
We are here to provide emotional support, share experiences and ideas and we include family members in planning for resident's care. Families are welcome to attend our support groups where we plan together and share ideas to assure quality and advocacy in care.
Peace of mind comes from knowing that you can stay involved in your community and still get the kind of care you need.
We are conveniently located in a relaxed and peaceful Brooklyn residential neighborhood.
Semi-private and private rooms are available for men, women and couples.
Our rooms are beautifully decorated for comfort. Hedgewood is the community of choice for older adults.

Our focus is on the care and wellbeing of the whole person. The physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of our residents is our primary concern.
There is no component of a resident's health that is overlooked or taken for granted.
We have a Doctor's office at our facility for the convenience of our residents. Doctors appointments are scheduled periodically to conform with state medical standards and as necessary or as required by the resident.
Where necessary, medical transportation is provided for those instances where specialists are required or in case of emergencies.
Daily housekeeping and trash removal are an intregral part of our daily services.
Laundry services are also provided.
Dine with three carefully prepared meals planned and implemented by our expert dietician.
Our Staff is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Each facility has on-site medical facilities and personnel. Medication is monitored and administered by qualified personnel.
Recreation is an integral component of a patient's / resident's therapy.
Mechanical, motor and creative skills are developed during our arts and crafts workshops.

Telephone in every room capable of dialing outside of the facility using our latest, state of the art telephone (PBX) system. Outside calls are made available for a nominal fee, (generally about $10 a month) to offset the cost.
