The Beechwood Homes, a not-for-profit nursing home, serves the needs of those who require supportive skilled health services, and is the first in WNY to feature person-centered care and household living. Accommodations consist of 279 private and semi-private rooms. This includes a 36-bed memory care unit, with an enclosed outdoor walk area, and Wesley Rehabilitation Center, a 22-bed unit designed specifically for residents with intensive, short-term rehabilitation or complex medical needs. Our accommodations offer private bathroom, carpeting, window treatments, and spacious wardrobe/closets. This allows you to bring in your favorite furniture from your home and to decorate it as you please.

Households: Beechwood presently has seven households and will ultimately have 14 in total. Approximately 12-18 residents reside in each household, where they share a country kitchen, welcoming dining room for meals and a living room with a cozy fireplace. See Gallery

Person Centered Care: Under the concept of a team approach, the staff follows a plan of care specifically designed to meet our residents' needs. Each being equally important, medical, nursing, food service, social work, rehabilitation services, pastoral care, and activities make up the interdisciplinary care team. This team approach is resident directed whenever possible, keeping in mind the preferences and wishes of the resident as paramount.

Beechwood Campus: Our campus is spacious both indoors and out. Whether you choose to enjoy a specialty coffee at our Tuscan Bistro, relax with a good book in our Library/Media Center or enjoy a quite stroll around our campus full of verdant gardens and water features . . . your choices are endless.

Admission Process: A formal application and Patient Review Instrument (PRI) must be completed and pre-approved. Upon approval, you will be eligible for admission based on room availability.
