The BABYLON BEACH HOUSE is located on the beautiful Great South Bay in Babylon Village, a community which many of our guests have called home all their lives…friends and relatives are just around the corner. We're located in a residential neighborhood, close to shops and waterfront restaurants, where our guests are encouraged to maintain relationships and stay active in their community. The Lockwood family has been caring for our community at the BABYLON BEACH HOUSE since 1979.

The mission of the Lockwood Family and the staff of the BABYLON BEACH HOUSE is to provide affordable Senior Living in a safe and secure environment where caring and compassion are a way of life.

Assisted living is a smart choice with senior citizens because it offers guests a greater say in their daily lives, and a greater range of choices in the things they wish to do, as well as the ability to stay active in the community. It is a comfort to know that the daily chores of life will be attended to, and that as they age, the necessary services are available to them. It is dignified affordable care and support services in a non-institutional setting.

Of course, most people would prefer to stay in their homes, but their comes a point when is just isn’t the best option. A large segment of the population is going to need a supportive and caring environment, not a medical facility like a nursing home, but more like their home with assistance available as they need it, when they need it.

Making the decision that a loved one needs the care of an Adult Home/Assisted Living facility like the BABYLON BEACH HOUSE can be one of the most difficult in life; we make every effort to make the transition as smooth as possible for both our guest and their family. Family members are reminded that they are always welcome to visit or call, any time, day or night, for reassurance or just to see that their loved one is comfortable, to tell them that you are thinking of them. Most transition periods last three week. And while we try to cover all the bases, we always welcome questions, suggestions and comments. We always learning new concepts, even in our fourth decade of caring.
