Welcome to Anna Erika Assisted Living Residence, Staten Island’s largest and most comprehensive Adult Care and Assisted Living Residence. We are nestled in the quiet residential snug harbor community of Staten Island, conveniently accessed from New York and New Jersey.
For over three decades Anna Erika Assisted Living has offered affordable living options and services to mature adults and seniors in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We accept most forms of payment including private pay, social security, public assistance, and Medicaid.
Our multi-lingual staff provides professional and seamless coordination of services to meet our residents’ needs and to treat each person with dignity and on an individual basis.
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Anna Erika Assisted Living offers comfortably furnished private and semi-private rooms with skyline views of New York and New Jersey. Daily housekeeping and laundry services are standard for a more home-like feeling, personalize your room with your compact furniture, decorative treatments, cable television and telephone services.
If you enjoy socializing, social lounges and designated smoking areas are located throughout the building with access to an airy outdoor patio.
Food services
Our professional chefs prepare three fresh and wholesome meals daily. All food is prepared according to nutritional guidelines with consideration for low sodium and sugar diets. Regardless of your diet, you may choose from two diverse menus of American and Asian cuisine served to you restaurant style by our courteous wait staff. Alternatives are always available and we will try our best to meet your food preferences.
Recreational Programs
Your life style and recreational interests are important to us. We offer a variety of scheduled activities, monthly social events and holiday festivities. Some of our programs include:
* Daily table games such as majong and bingo
* Game arcade with table shuffleboard, air hockey, ping pong and other interactive sports
* Weekly tai chi exercises classes
* Monthly disco parties
* Monthly trips and shopping excursions
* Monthly musical guests
* Wide screen television and current film releases
* Daily crafts including knitting, painting, and guitar lessons
* Various religious programs.
Residents are encouraged to participate in all programs and to share their talents with others. As we try to meet everyone’s recreational preferences, we welcome all suggestions for new activities.
INDEPENDENT ONSITE WELLNESS PROGRAM
Our on-site independent wellness program can assist you stay healthy with easy access to a variety of independent onsite medical and clinical services. Providers include:

* Mental health day treatment and clinic programs

* Dentistry and oral care
* Certified home health services including nursing, rehabilitation and home care services
* Mobile laboratory services
If you prefer, we can help arrange transportation to community based consults with your physician or specialist of choice.
CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES & ASSISTED LIVING PROGRAM
Our professional and dedicated social, medical, and financial case managers are ready to help upon your admission. They work hard to coordinate the services and resources that you need, ranging from scheduling medical appointments and transportation to processing your financial entitlements. Our case managers oversee all aspects of your life at Anna Erika and will provide maximum assistance to address all of your needs.
If you need help with your daily routine, our round-the-clock caring Personal Care Staff are available. If eligible to join the Assisted Living Program, you will receive extra hands-on care with dressing, bathing, transferring and other activities of daily living. Regardless of care plan, our staff are onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to attend to your needs.
MEDICAL AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Our Medical Case Managers are on hand to assist with your medical treatments and medication regimen. Doctor’s consults and treatment plans can be arranged with follow up reminders and escorts as needed. Our Medication Assistance Program can assist in your daily medication management including medication assistance in accordance with your physician’s prescription. Our trained Medication Staff work hard to ensure that all of your medications are received, stored and assisted with in a compliant manner. FINANCIAL CASE MANAGEMENT
Upon admission, we will help process and establish your public assistance and social security entitlements. Our financial case manager will work with the appropriate resources to access all eligible benefits including Medicaid and Medicare. We also offer the convenience of depositing your personal funds into a private account that will enable you to access you money daily without incurring extra charges and avoiding trips to the bank.
