Birchwood Suites sits on five beautifully landscaped acres nestled in the heart of East Northport. Our unique community offers a tranquil setting for all seasons. We are committed to making Birchwood Suites a dignified and affordable living option for our local seniors.

Assisted Living bridges the gap between living on your own and living in a nursing home. Assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, housekeeping and transportation is provided.

Choices will vary from single or double rooms to suites and apartments. Assisted living residences may be part of a retirement community, nursing home or elderly housing facility, or they may stand alone. Whatever the setting, assisted living offers the opportunity for residents to continue living as independently as possible.

We realize that a vital part of creating a comfortable and therapeutic environment is satisfying our residents’ personal needs. Here at Birchwood Suites, we are focused on making every individual feel very much at home. A specific level of care is assessed to meet each resident’s health care needs.

Our entire staff is committed to the physical, psychological and social needs of each resident. Many of our staff members have been with us for many years, allowing families to get to know who is caring for their loved ones. This also gives our residents a sense of familiarity with people they see on a daily basis.

On site physical rehabilitation is available to residents in our state of the art rehab department. In addition, we offer medical specialties such as internal medicine, podiatry, optometry, psychiatry and psychology. Doctors are affiliated with the local hospitals so that if an admission is necessary, residents can be seen by their own physician.

We serve 3 delicious restaurant-style meals along with snacks and coffee socials. This lovely 5 acre estate offers a garden patio and walking paths.

As a courtesy to our residents, our rooms are cable ready with telephone jacks installed for personal telephones.
